Various wildtypes

A few wildtypes that does not fit in anywhere.

Caridina sp. "Raccoon Tiger":

A species that came from Vietnam in 2016 along with Caridina sp. "Umbrella Corp.". The latter is not easy to find in the hobby anymore, but the Raccoons seem to have grown on the shrimpers in  Europe.

In my tank they are breeding fast and strong and seem extremely hardy but the best results I have had in "bee-setup" with softer water.

Caridina sp. Nemo Bee:

A little very variable shrimp that might be from inland Sulawesi, but noone seems to be shure. I asked Hans Georg Evers who travelled and collected there a lot and he has not noticed them. I any case, they are easy and especially the young are stunning. For now they are kept in soft water but I want to try them in tapwater too.

Female.

Male.

Caridina trifasciata "Blue":

Very variable type of trifasciata originating from a small stream in Hong Kong. From the typical transparent 3-banded types to full deep blue (even purple) with everything in between. Mainly blue shades though.

From one extremety to another...
